B.A. Grand Canyon University Jason graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ with a B.A. in Theatre. After moving to CA he worked for California Weekly Explorer teaching history through educational “Walk Through” programs to elementary and middle school students throughout the state. In addition to heading up the Theatre and Music Department at Ambassador, Jason has worked with the Torrance High School Theatre Department for over 20 years directing, music directing, and designing lights for various plays and musicals. Jason is an accomplished singer and actor, appearing on stages around the South Bay. Favorite roles include: The Baker (Into the Woods), Pseudolus (A Funny Thing Happened…), Orin Scrivello, D.D.S. (Little Shop of Horrors), Algernon (The Importance of Being Earnest), and Puck (A Midsummer Night’s Dream). Every Christmas season you might see him at Disneyland performing in A Christmas Fantasy Parade as it travels down Main Street. Jason is married to his beautiful wife, Lesley, who is an English teacher at Torrance High School and the founder and coach of their debate team. They live in San Pedro, CA with their two wonderful children (Jacey and Dashiell), two cats (Tybalt and Ruby), and their giant black Labrador (Titus). |
