B.S./M.S. Redlands, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Mr. Giampaoli teaches Math, Science, and Engineering at Ambassador Christian School. He strives to equip students for success in college and career in the Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) fields, while strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ. He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Redlands with minors in mathematics and physics, and his Masters of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He retired from a 31 year career in the space program, contributing to the Galileo spacecraft to Jupiter, the Cassini spacecraft to Saturn, and the James Webb Space Telescope.
Mr. Giampaoli has been an active member of the Torrance community for over 25 years, serving as AYSO soccer coach and referee, and youth volleyball coach. He is an active member of Nova Community Church and trained as a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member. He lives in Torrance with his wife, Alesia. His son, Jeremy is a UCLA graduate. He enjoys beach volleyball, cooking, astronomy, and spending time with family. |
